Mr. Whitehouse
Mr. Whitehouse grew up in Skaneateles, NY and went to the University of Vermont for his undergraduate degrees. After one year as a para at Smilie School in Bolton and after-school coordinator for Christ the King School in Burlington, Whitehouse moved to Massachusetts to teach at the Landmark School in Prides Crossing, MA. There he received his Masters Degree from Simmons College in Boston, taught U.S. History, founded the Outdoor Leadership program, coached the Landmark sailing team, and wrote for the school magazine "The Lantern".
Summer breaks allowed Mr. Whitehouse to explore passions outside of work, including hiking the 500 mile Camino de Santiago in France and Spain, be an elected delegate to a 2016 National Convention, buy and renovate his home in Warren Vermont, and serve as Political Advisor to three state-wide campaigns. When he's not teaching you can find Whitehouse gardening, playing competitive disc golf, skiing at Sugarbush, and perfecting any and all grilled foods.
He currently lives in the Mad River Valley with his wife Kalee and dog Teddy.
Classes taught by Whitehouse this year include: U.S. History, World History, American Frontiers at S.T.A.R., A.P. World History.
